Angled shoes are at a 36 degree pitch and will usually allow up to 2 degrees more if needed. They can be used on top of iron balusters in a rake angle situation or on the bottom in a kneewall situation.
If the angle of your installation does not match the shoes, you may use a belt sander or similar to modify the shoes. You may also notch the mounting surface slightly and inset the shoe for a flush install.
