False End Starting Steps and False Treads and Risers are often used when carpeting will be placed on the center of the treads and risers on a stairway.
A false end step is used when a volute or turnout is used at the bottom of the stairway. Each kit is reversible for right hand and left hand applications.
Each kit is reversible for right hand and left hand applications and is shipped with the necessary cove and shoe moulding.
