LJ-3006 Newel Mounting Plate is used to mount 3 Inch (76 mm) to 3 1/2 Inch (89 mm) square based newel posts on finished floor surfaces.
The edge of the mounting plate can be covered with the included moulding, or by running carpet over top of the plate and fitting it to the newel post.
